God guards, preserves and delivers us from the attacks of our enemies. In guarding us, He prevents some attacks from occurring. In preserving us, He enables us to withstand attacks that do occur. In delivering us, He puts an end to the occurring attacks. Ultimately, because Jesus was attacked by His enemies and nailed to the cross to atone for our sins, we can someday enter a place where there are no more attacks and no more enemies. Let us rejoice today in our God, the strength of our salvation. And how great is His strength! He will provide a way for us to escape or endure all injustices until we get safely home to Him.
